La politique étrangére du Maroc : sous le régne du roi Mohamed VI

Abstract

La présente thèse se propose d'examiner la politique étrangère du royaume du Maroc sous le règne du roi Mohammed VI, avec pour objectif de mettre en évidence les similitudes et les dissemblances avec celle pratiquée par son défunt père, le roi Hassan II.

Dans ce cadre, il ressort clairement que la politique extérieure du royaume marocain subit la prégnance de trois principaux déterminants : la proximité avec l'Occident, la consolidation des liens avec les monarchies du Golfe et, de manière singulière, la quête de légitimation de l'occupation du Sahara occidental, engendrant du même coup le développement d'un climat de tension permanente avec l'Algérie.

This thesis proposes to examine the foreign policy of the kingdom of Morocco under the reign of King Mohammed VI with the aim of highlighting the similarities and dissimilarities with those practiced by his late father King Hassan II.

In this context, it is clear that the policy of the Moroccan Kingdom is influenced by three main determinants : proximity to the West, the consolidation of ties with the Gulf monarchies and, in a singular way, the quest to legitimize the occupation of the Western Sahara, thus generating the development of a climate of permanent tension with Algeria. تقترح هذه الأطروحة فحص السياسة الخارجية للمملكة المغربية في ظل حكم الملك محمد السادس، بهدف إبراز أوجه الشبه والإختلاف مع السياسة الخارجية المتبناة تحت حكم الراحل أبيه، الملك الحسن الثاني.

في هذا الإطار، يتضح جليا أن السياسة الخارجية للمملكة المغربية تخضع للعوامل الأساسية الثلاثة : التقرب من الغرب، تعزيز الروابط مع مملكات الخليج وبصفة خاصة، السعي إلى شرعنة إحتلال الصحراء الغربية، الذي نتج عنه في نفس الوقت جو من التوتر الدائم مع الجزائر.
